Requirements
- Possess at least Diploma/Degree in related field. Food Technology, Food Science or any other professional certificates will take into consideration as well.
- A minimum of 2-3 years working experience in food manufacturing & managerial role; Those with flavor house experience will be an advantage.
- Well verse in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is added advantage.
- Cheerful, creative, innovative, idealistic, and interested in food research and development.
- Attention to details and hands on person and is willing to take additional responsibilities.
- Work independently, multi taskings and result oriented.
Responsibilities
- Work with Sales & Marketing team to determine and establish new products or enhancement to existing products.
- Monitor and coordinate all activities related to new/existing products development to lower cost, maintain products of the highest quality that meet the customer standards and requirements while complying with HACCP and ISO requirements.
- Prepare SOP for routine experiment and research and ensure that product launched according to timeline.
- Conduct Sensory evaluation of new/existing product sample whenever necessary.
- Review and verify trial run, shelf-life validation, sensory evaluation report and cooking instruction validation report.
- Involve in production trial run before commercial run. Work with Operation Team (Production and QA) to ensure new products are compatible with current manufacturing processes.
- Perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management.
- Perform physical and chemical analysis on Food ingredients & products
