Requirements
- Written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Min 3 years’ experience in the manufacturing field (Preferably Plastic/Rubber Industry).
- Min SPM or Possesses Certificate/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic
- Any field or any equivalent Vocational or Technical institutions.
- Understanding and application of industrial safety processes and procedures as related to the department and facility installations.
- Able to work independently and good personality.
- Appropriate electrical training or certified qualification in the Electrical field is an added advantage
- Hands-on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical components. (preferably in the plastic packaging industry)
- Knowledge or experience in pneumatic systems, motor and drive, heater related circuits is an added advantage.
- Experience in and proficiency in project management techniques and methods.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and utility equipment/systems.
- Meets regularly with superior to review engineering needs, capital spending and maintenance issues.
- Oversees work order, review meetings and works as a team to prioritize and schedule maintenance work to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
- Improve maintenance system such as preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and parts availability.
- Perform equipment breakdown support and troubleshooting support.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technicians in providing day to day operational support, preventive maintenance and undertaking projects.
- Develops and implements cost reduction ideas and maintains control of labour costs including approval of maintenance group overtime.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
