Requirements

  • Project Coordination Skills: Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and setup of furniture according to client specifications.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Proficient in verbal and written communication in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is necessary to ensure accurate inventory management, proper setup of furniture at event venues, and adherence to client specifications.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues that may arise during project execution, such as last-minute changes in requirements or logistical challenges.
  • Team Leadership Abilities: Experience leading a team of staff or vendors to ensure efficient setup, teardown, and transportation of furniture for events.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are necessary to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the dynamic nature of event planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of Furniture and Décor Trends: Awareness of current trends in event furniture and décor to offer clients innovative and stylish options for their events.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software tools for project management, inventory tracking, and communication, such as Microsoft Office suite, project management software, and RM systems.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move furniture items safely, as the role may involve physical tasks such as loading and unloading trucks or setting up furniture at event venues.

  • Organize Tasks: Coordinate schedules, deadlines, and resources for the project.
  • Communicate: Serve as a central point of contact for team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Track Progress: Monitor project milestones and ensure tasks are completed on time.

  • Documentation: Maintain records, reports, and documentation related to the project's progress and outcomes.
