Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or related disciplines;
- ACCA / PA / ICAEW qualification is strongly desired;
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English, preferably having knowledge in Cantonese, and Putonghua; (Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred as IT is necessary to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.);
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in PA firms;
- Proficient in assurance standards and financial reporting regulatory environment;
- Good knowledge of risk management with relevant experience;
- Ability to interact with executive levels of firm management;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to quality;
- Immediate availability is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and implementing our firm’s quality management system;
- Perform financial statements and audit quality assurance reviews;
- Work closely with audit engagement teams and provide other support in identifying engagement risk and establishing relevant measures to mitigate the risk;
- Provide technical advice on accounting and auditing standards;
- Provide guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback to audit team members;
- Handle regulatory inquiries and compliance issues;
- Liaise with other internal functions to ensure consistent implementation of policies and procedures within the practice;
- Review and comment on reports and other legal documents;
- Provide training and keep abreast of the latest regulatory requirements.
