Roles

Responsible for performing day-to-day store operations, ensure stock accuracy and inventory management in compliance with the relevant International Organization for Standardization (ISO) guidelines and procedures adopted in power plant.

Responsibilities and Duties

Receipt of goods from suppliers, issuing to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) usage and post into system accurately on daily basis according to procedure.

Goods Issue Note (GIN).
Goods Receipt Note (GRN).
Incoming Material Inspection Report.

2. Check stock level and replenishment.

Material re-order point (Cron-Task).
Material master creation for new items.

3. Check goods preservative to minimise obsolescence stock.

Plastic bags, anti-rust, special grease & coatings are used to preserve the quality of materials when necessary.
To check stock items for deterioration every 6 months or once a year.

4. Maintain and update material records accurately and timely.

5. Maintain good storage of goods, equipment, warehouse facilities and Personal Protective Equipment.

6. Assist in performing monthly, random and periodic stock take accurately as per company policy.

7. Perform store housekeeping (5S) and parts arrangement to ensure warehouse in good condition for store management efficiency.

8. Conduct work place inspection for Safety, Health and Environment Department (SHE) on monthly basis.

Fire Extinguisher Checklist.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Form record.

9. Monitor company vehicle fuel consumption and replenishment (Petrol).

Record in log book.
Top-up.

10. Comply with all applicable SHEQ legal requirements and our stakeholders’ specifications by establishing policies, programmes and practices in order to conduct operations in a healthy, safe and environmentally sound manner with safety first, quality foremost & pursuing excellence.

11. To perform other additional tasks that are relevant and necessary to accomplish the company overall objectives, which may be assigned from time to time.

Qualification and Competency (License)

Minimum Education Qualification required:

Diploma in Stores Management or;
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or;
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or;
Diploma in Business Administration from a recognized universities / higher learning institutes.

2. Minimum Mandatory Competency (License) required:

Forklift.

Work Experience

Minimum years of working experience related to the work scope:

Minimum 3 years working experience in store.

Skills and Behaviour Traits

Hands on with analytical skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Good communication skills.
