SECURITY

Establish and maintain procedures to minimize any internal theft/losses.
Escort of employees transporting large sums of money (must get assistant for arm guard/local Police)
Establish and maintain policy for spot checks of employees carrying parcels when departing hotel/Shopping Mall property to ensure only employee personal property is leaving.
Establish and maintain systems/procedures to ensure that both regular and irregular patrols of entire shopping malls are completed to maximum potential.
Ensure that all reports are completed properly and in a timely manner to ensure that all matters are duly communicate and all necessary actions are commenced as soon as required.
Coordinate investigation of all acts of crime, or any losses incurred against by Guests, patrons staff, Shopping Mall and company in order to determine those responsible and proceed with any necessary prosecution/recover of losses.
Upgrade SOP doors lock, CCTV surveillance equipment, etc. in time to time in order to handle sensitive investigations.
Control access to critical areas where the need for access arises outside of normal operating hours for that area.
Ensure that all required checks, tests, and inspections are completed in a timely manner where required in order to ensure compliance with all code and regulation requirements and ensure that all records are properly maintained as required.
Ensure that all staffs are properly trained in emergency procedures and maintain an ongoing training/retraining program in order to ensure that all staffs are familiar with procedures at all times.
Through regular reviews, ensure that programs/procedures are in place in order to address most expected circumstances in the event of an emergency.
Upon being advised, initiate/lead appropriate loss recovery actions necessary to protect the shopping mall from further additional losses and/or coordinate implementation of emergency plan.
Ensure all Auxiliary Police and security staff are properly trained in emergency procedures at all times.
Review daily activities of Auxiliary security officers on all shifts.
Maintain control of Lost and Found valuables.
Ensure that all items are properly returned to guests upon enquiries and verifications being made.
Establish and maintain effective means of communication and working rapport with staff/management of other departments.
Recruiting new Auxiliary Police, Training and other which is relevant.
Other duties as may be assigned by the Mall Operation Manager, Director and/or Owner Physical Demands: excessive walking, standing, exposed to extreme temperatures as must go from interior to exterior of building during all seasons and weather conditions.

SAFETY

Manage and encourage best health and safety practices.
Responsible for creating a healthy, productive workspace and maintain a high level of general concern for workplace safety, amongst all Hatten Groups staff through implementation of various policies and procedures.
Through safety programmed implementation of policies and procedures, ensure that the shopping mall maintains full compliance with all legislative acts including occupational health and Safety Act regulations. To include training/retraining in matters where necessary for all departments.
Act as Certified Management Representative in all health & safety matters requiring such representation by Hatten Groups management.
Coordinate safety audit and conduct regular and irregular inspections of the shopping malls in order to ensure that the safety of the guests, staff, and shopping mall physical plant are not being compromised by potentially dangerous situations.
To create and execute health and safety plans.
Enforces workplace safety policies & protocols and verifies that a workplace is run in accordance with OSHA safety requirements.
