Responsibilities:

Lead the kitchen team in creating culinary masterpieces that delight our guests.
Develop menus that highlight local flavors and ingredients, staying true to the Serai Group's culinary ethos.
Mentor and support our kitchen staff, ensuring a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety in the kitchen.
Manage inventory and procurement to ensure a seamless flow of ingredients and supplies.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate food service and exceed guest expectations.
Stay abreast of culinary trends and incorporate innovative ideas into our menus.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where creativity flourishes.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Chef De Partie, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment.
A culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution.
Deep understanding of Malaysian cuisine and a passion for its rich flavors.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
