Data Center Electrical Technician Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Repairing, servicing and maintenance of electrical equipment.
Conduct daily walkthroughs of Data Center facility.
Responsible for day-to-day activities and project work as assigned by internal team.
Proactive monitoring of production system with a sense of urgency when issues arise.
Server, network, and all type of equipment installations.
To troubleshoot and fix problems relate to data center equipment.
To assist the Chargeman to conduct preventive maintenance and services such as Power Audit Services, Thermal Scanning Services, Grounding measurement & electrical switchboards preventive maintenance and off load test.
To standby at site for activities such as genset testing, TNB power outage, HT switchgear servicing , load schuffling and other activities related to the data center.
To install & perform testing and commissioning of data center equipment such as CCTV, card access, UPS, CRAC units, Split Unit Air-conds, Water Detection System, Vesda system.
Ensuring the Data Hall is Operating as agreed SLAs with the customers
Maintain records, checklist, and documentation.
Any other job as assigned by Superior.

REQUIREMENTS

Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
1 - 2 years working experience in related field.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Knowledge in server, network equipment and software support configuration.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and as a team with the team members.
Good interpersonal skills.
Possess own transport and able to travel.
