Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take charge of all financial and administrative activities, ensuring the credibility of the finance group through timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts

What You'll Do

As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client's business. Your leadership skills will be put to good use as you develop strategies for short- and long-term financial objectives.

Preparation and review of group financial results for submission to CFO and Directors
Preparation and review of financial results for Audit Committees and Board of Directors for quarterly announcements
Planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial and administration related activities
Providing leadership in the development for continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives
Ensuring credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts
Ensuring effective internal controls are in place and compliance with regulatory laws for financial and tax reporting
Liaison with auditors and tax agents on meeting statutory requirements and deadlines

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this Financial Controller position brings a wealth of experience from previous financial leadership roles.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CA is highly desirable
Over 10 years' experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in FMCG or retail industry
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation
Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach
Ability to exercise sound judgement based on accurate analyses
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency
