Job Description

As Senior Designer, you will lead a Project Team dedicated to producing functionally beautiful spaces for clients. The project Team shall comprise of interior designer, Quantity surveyor, project personnel, business development personnel and outsourced project related service providers, if any. Use your delivery perspective to bring new approaches to design process and strategy, develop next generation talent, and help our clients redefine their product and themselves, Developing overall interior design concepts, formulate design presentation strategies, and provide creative leadership to the interiors team through a variety of project types, this person will be passionate design leader, Portfolio of this firm, although wide across mixed use, Commercial, Hospitality, Retail and Residential, this role offers exposure to high end, largescale projects

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Direct, manage and motivate the project team. Play the lead role in planning, coordinating, executing, Monitoring , controlling and closing / completion/ handover of project
2. Ensuring proper filing and indexing of project related documentation
3. Lead the creative interiors efforts on client projects, developing overall design concepts and design presentation strategies. This individual is key to managing existing client relationships and developing new ones
4. Lead interior design efforts that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation
5. Notify the finance department on the issuance of progress billings and assist the finance department on the collection of billings of the project
6. Develop strategies and design solutions that differentiate the organisation’s capabilities in the market
7. Drive research efforts to identify emerging trends or issues in the design industry
8. Align design solutions and offerings with evolving customer needs , technological advancements, and the organisation’s brand identity
9. Conceptualise new design solutions and offerings for the organisation
10. Set the overall direction for design aesthetics and user experience
11. Provide creative direction on the development of prototypes and review prototypes against established design vision
12. Conceive innovative design aesthetic ideas in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
13. Evaluate overall aesthetics, effectiveness and viability of design output
14. Advice all final design details, samples and prototypes
15. Advise on the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF &E), colours palettes and lighting
16. Provide justification for the features and benefits of the recommended design solutions
17. Communicate the impact on design production quality when implanting the recommended design solutions
18. Oversee the development of design portfolios, and whenever possible, pilot new lines of revenue for the organisation
19. Innovate new products or evolve existing products in collaboration with other stakeholders
20. Provide guidance on issues related to design, development, and deployment, for design portfolios
21. Design monetisation strategies to scale products into revenue- drivers for the organisation
22. Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution selections needed for construction
23. Act as the primary interior design interface with clients

- minimum 6 years of working experience in this field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
