Lead and develop the Engineering & Maintenance Department to support company growth.
Provide technical leadership and proactively collaborate with relevant departments to solve issues and initiate improvements.
Ensure the quality of maintenance work across the organization, with minimal downtime.
Develop and instill a strong data-driven approach to TPM and equipment engineering, focusing on improved OEE performance.
Manage overall equipment safety and maintenance, including calibration, risk management, mitigation for business continuity, and audits.
Ensure that areas within the maintenance scope comply with GMP, HALAL, ISO, DOSH, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Manage the verification of all maintenance records/data and scheduled maintenance.
Oversee all engineering-related activities, including breakdown and preventive maintenance (PM) programs for machinery, equipment, and facilities, and provide solutions to improve implementation.
Manage contractors, ensuring full compliance with company SOPs while safeguarding the organization's interests.
Set departmental Quality Objectives and key performance indicators, and take necessary measures to align them with the organization's goals.
Develop maintenance talent and ensure they are equipped with sufficient know-how and skills, enabling them to work independently with full responsibility towards achieving zero downtime. Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensure full implementation, and adjust them as needed, without compromising safety in all engineering disciplines.
Execute cost-saving projects in a timely manner and undertake any other new initiatives as per management instructions, within your technical expertise and capabilities.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions by operating, testing, and inspecting the affected equipment.
Coordinate with production and operations teams to ensure equipment availability and reliability.
Evaluate, implement, and oversee the maintenance of automation and robotic systems to improve production efficiency and accuracy.
Work closely with the Production, IT, and other departments to align the industry 4.0 initiative with the organization's objectives.
Prepare management reports related to engineering activities.
Be prepared to take on ad-hoc assignments as and when requested by management.
