Responsibilities:

Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases.
To handle issues of complaints, rejection and maintain good relationships with vendors suppliers
Maintain records of purchases, pricing and other important data
Review and analyse all vendors / suppliers, supply, price options and look for alternative sources for products.
Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and update on potential future development.
Manage and coordinate all purchasing activities including purchase order processing, delivery planning, delivery control, stock control of materials
Liaise with suppliers and inter-department personnel on all material related issues.
Manage order changes, track and trace the PO and communicate with vendor for order confirmation
Deal with suppliers on any quality issues, products replacement, products sample request, pricing and etc.
To perform other duties as and when assigned by designated Superior

Qualifications and Skills Required

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree, or equivalent in supply chain management, logistics or Food Tech/Science.
Self-motivated, aggressive and performance oriented.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
1-2 years’ experience in purchasing.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. Mandarin. Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin stakeholder and clients.
