INV New Material Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. is a China-based company specializing in the manufacturing of lithium battery separators. We are the first lithium battery separator factory in the ASEAN region, situated at Penang Technology Park@Bertam.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Treasurer to join our dynamic team.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

Manage activities related to procurement, sourcing, supplier selection, product delivery in Malaysia manufacturing plant.
Develops and maintains working relationships with supply chain partners.
Support purchasing headquarter to optimize site purchasing processes and procedures for the organization, carry out purchasing and supplier strategy from purchasing headquarter.
Evaluate technology needs and procure essential technology products. Ensure purchases remain within budget and on schedule.
Collaborate with respective departments to prioritize procurement needs.
Develop and investigate supply sources, and issue request proposals, quotations, or bids for those items not covered by any existing purchasing agreement.
Responsible for leading strategic sourcing efforts focus on Malaysia plant. Implement periodical supplier performance assessment.
Leads the identification and execution of projects to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency for warehouse, transportation area.
Demonstrates financial analysis skills including ability to assess supplier proposals and understanding of supplier cost structure.
Manages RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes and requirements.
Develops and executes of negotiation strategy with management assistance.
Demonstrates project management skills including the ability to assess required resources and critical path timeline.
Analyzes the supply markets (researches and identifies potential qualified suppliers, researches industry cost/price drivers, develops requests for proposals).

REQUIREMENTS:

At least Bachelor Degree of Arts and Bachelor Degree of Science , Master Degree preferred; Engineering background preferred;
5-10 years business experience in sourcing role; Automotive, new energy industry preferred.
RFI, RFQ, RFP and/or bid analysis experience required.
A moderate to complex level of financial analysis ability.
Experience in sourcing, negotiating pricing, purchase contract terms and conditions .
Ability to assess suppliers against their contractual commitments and develop performance improvement plans for those not meeting commitments.
Ability to work under moderate supervision and guidance at a moderately stable pace.
