Description

Job Responsibilities:
Carry out all inspections according to Quality Manual.
To prepare accurate recording and complete documentation for quality control processes.
Inspect incoming materials for Plates, Pipes, Flanges, Fittings, Quick Actuating Door, Bottom Strainer, Incline Plates and Steam Spreaders.
Ensure that all Mill Certificates or Material Test Certificates are received, checked and verified against the latest Codes.
Carry out inspection and compliance checks on all Quick Actuating Door assembling and testing processes before approving the release to Contractor.
Check that Vertical Sterilizer, Quick Actuating Door and other parts are fabricated according to approved drawings and comply to American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Codes.
Witness and evaluate the results of Dye Penetrant Test (DPT) on welded joints and report the findings to Production Manager.
Liaise with SGS Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Societe Generale De Surveillance) and Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerja for Hardness Test witnessing and Hardness Test Certificate.
Conduct inspection on vertical sterilizer before delivery to customer by using Pre – Delivery Inspection (PDI) check list.
Conduct re-inspection process after repair, rework or touch up on vertical sterilizer.
