To develop inspection instruments, test equipment, inspection and control procedures to optimize the performance.
To prepare process control plans for the production or inspection personnel. Define appropriate control criteria at various operation stations.
To carry out process capability study to identify the actual causes of the problems. Disseminate such information to all concerned for corrective action, and follow-up till problem resolved.
To establish, review and revises the quality standards, inspection procedures and methods as and when required.
To work closely with all level on procedural problem involving design, methods, tooling and other areas involved in the assurance and control of product quality.
To participate in the engineering review of new or redesigned products, prototype fabrication, and determination of inspection plans and procedure.
To design inspection gauges, conduct evaluation on new produce equipment.
To co-ordinate equipment/gauges calibration and maintain a proper calibration records.
To audit the existing quality assurance system and procedures for deficiency/compliance and recommend improvement in those areas of deficiency.
Assist in development and enforcement of company policies, system procedures. And formulating major quality objectives, and other associated duties as required or directed.
