Job Responsibilities:

Assisting Health and Safety Manager to develop Company Process Safety Management (PSM) program.
Conducts regular risk assessments and identify hazards.
Develops and implements safety risk mitigation plans.
Audits the PSM program to ensure compliance.
Works with production and maintenance departments to ensure compliance with PSM requirements.
Reviews specifications for new machinery, equipment and consumables to ensure they meet safety requirements.
Inspects facilities, machinery and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards.
Participates in opening, closing and other necessary meetings.
Audits relevant documentation per the requirements of ISO14001 / ISO45001.
Collaborates with sustainability team to ensure that the Company's sustainability efforts support its safety and health responsibilities.
Reports monthly to the Health and Safety Manager on the status of the PSM program and associated risks.
Interfaces with superintendents or supervisors to develop safe operation procedures. Established and developed written operating instruction and tasks with clear steps that reflect current practices.
Implements and coordinates process safety management training programs requiring the application of PSM elements.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any Engineering or Equivalent.
At least 1-2 years relevant working experience in manufacturing industry.
Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
Knowledge in safety engineering subject is an added advantage.
Possessed knowledge in Process Safety Management.
Required Skill(s) : Organizational Skill, Communication Skill and Analytical Skill.
