Description

We are looking for a certified pediatric occupational therapist who can effectively address the needs of children with physical, mental, emotional, and learning disabilities in a school environment. The pediatric occupational therapist is responsible for providing developmentally appropriate programs that are aligned with national norms of the state.

Responsibilities:
* Providing developmentally appropriate programs that are aligned with national norms of the state.
* Collaborating with parents and support staff.
* Assessing students’ progress to help them achieve important learning milestones.
* Addressing the physical, mental, emotional, and learning disabilities of children.
* Developing tailored teaching plans.

Requirements:
* Diploma / bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
* Proven working experience as occupational therapist.
* Fresh graduate with no experience is welcome to apply as training will be given by an experience OT.
* Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy.
* Hands-on experience with computer programs and creative media.
* Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools (e.g. Katz ADL scale, Lawton IADL scale).
* Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
* Current knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the profession.
