Job Description

Overseeing engineering deliverables and multi-disciplinary works to meet project quality requirements.
To assist Project Manager to prepare technical proposals for potential projects (if necessary)
To plan method of construction, work schedule for adoption of relevant parties.
To identify the site requirements (ie. Set-up site office, temporary services, kongsi, site organization chart and etc).
To draw up plant and machinery, material requirement schedules for procurement and purchases.
To execute and control project activities within the desired budget, time and quality.
To liaise with client, consultant, architect, subcontractor, supplier, relevant authorities.
To prepare documentation, correspondence, claim, variation order, instruction reports, etc.
To monitor site movement and documents – progress report, site diary, machineries and material ordering, receiving and usage, F.A control, cost coding, etc.
To monitor, control, delegate duties to all site staff in accordance to instruction for project manager / person-in-charge.
Checking drawing to ensure that they are followed correctly.
Day to day management at the site likely supervising & monitoring the site labor force and any of the subcontractors.
Checking plans, drawings and quantity for accurate calculations.
To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering
Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical skills in geotechnical and structural analysis and design work would be an advantage
Must have more than 5 years civil engineering consultant & experience on the preparation tender document, contract document and verify the contractor progress payment.
Candidate must be able to work independently and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
Required Skill(s): AutoCAD, Microsoft Project & Microsoft Office
Applicants must be Malaysian citizens
Attention to detail, understanding priorities, meeting deadlines, and the ability to multi-tasks.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
