Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Therapist Assistant to join our team at the T&CM, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). The ideal candidate will have an SPM qualification and a passion for helping others through traditional and complementary medicine practices. The Therapist Assistant will support senior therapists in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist therapists in preparing treatment rooms and equipment.
Support therapists during patient treatments by preparing necessary materials and ensuring patient comfort.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist in documenting treatment procedures.
Provide basic patient care and support under the supervision of licensed therapists.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of treatment areas.
Assist in scheduling patient appointments and managing patient flow.
Educate patients on aftercare procedures and answer any basic questions they may have.
Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in traditional and complementary medicine.

Qualifications:

SPM qualification or equivalent.
Interest in traditional and complementary medicine practices.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and scheduling.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
