• Perform biological analyses of water samples which include morphological and molecular identification of phytoplankton and zooplankton, analyses of chlorophyll-a, algal toxins and acute toxicity tests; input of results into laboratory information management system (LIMS), trigger alert on abnormalities and support site investigations to troubleshoot water quality issues

• Conduct analyses of water quality data, provide scientific and data analytics to drive biological water quality monitoring, recommend measures to ensure water safety

• Carry out R&D studies to explore and implement new effective technologies to improve efficiency of biological monitoring of water quality, perform methods/protocols development and prepare technical documents as required ...
