No, a company cannot issue a warning letter without following proper procedure. Issuing a warning letter requires adherence to specific guidelines and protocols to ensure fairness and transparency. The company should conduct an investigation to gather evidence and facts related to the incident before taking any disciplinary action. Moreover, they should provide the accused employee an opportunity to present their side of the story and defend themselves. Simply saying that they managed to find witnesses during the incident is not enough to justify the issuance of a warning letter. The company must follow due process and ensure that all relevant procedures are followed to maintain a fair and just work environment.
