George Town Heritage Hotels

George Town Heritage Hotels is the portal of heritage hotels in Penang! GTHH consists of Seven Terraces, Muntri Mews, Muntri Grove & Jawi Peranakan Mansion

George Town, Penang was awarded the UNESCO World Heritage status in 2008 which spurred Chris on to saving more heritage buildings in the core zone. In 2009 two more properties were added to his portfolio, namely Muntri Mews and Noordin Mews. Noordin Mews was sold during its first month of operation. Ong then decided to re-invest the finances from the sale to save more likewise buildings. Down the road, more properties were added namely Seven Terraces and Muntri Grove and the latest edition to the list is the Jawi Peranakan Mansion which will start its operation soon.

Each hotel showcases a range of 19th century architecture, integral to Penang’s history and heritage, in hip setting yet modern and comfortable for today’s living.
