They have delivered more than USD3billion of civil infrastructure, operate and maintain 230km of highways that serve more than two million road users daily, provide water supply to more than 2 million consumers as well as built more than 14,000 homes in our lifestyle townships. Their scope of expertise covers highways and expressways, bridges, tunnels, dams and hydropower, hydraulic engineering and water treatment, railways and mass-rapid transit systems, marine works and ports, and building, which are delivered through general contracting, design & build, turn-key, as well as Build–Operate–Transfer methods. They have major contract with the Indian government to construct, operate and maintain a major highway concession in Kolkata (Calcutta), West Bengal. They are looking for an experienced Senior Manager who have extensive experience in management and civil construction experience that is willing to be based in Kolkata for a period of of up to 5 years.You will be working with a small but experience group of personnel in their Kolkata offices and your responsibilities are to oversee the management of the Indian operations from managing the day to day activities of the office and personnel, the overseeing of major projects in India, the recruitment of key personnel such as engineers, site managers, administrative personnel and working and liaising closely with the company's directors.To be considered for this role, you must possess at least 15-20 years experience in overseeing major civil construction projects primarily in road and highway construction, operations and maintenance and the abiity to manage a company's operations from project management to dealing with directors of the company.In return for your commitment, you will be paid an excellent remuneration package and an excellent work/life balance.
