In Ipoh city, Malaysia, there is a traditional pastry name "Hiong Piah". The unique traditional way of baking the biscuit with coconut husk in a custom-made traditional oven created the famous and well accepted unique taste of its kind loved by the supporters. Over the years, Gunung Rapat Hiong Piah Sdn Bhd has revolutionized the homemade bakery process into a fully automated production, which is comply with the highest international food processing requirements and skillfully retained the distinctive traditional taste and texture of the biscuits.

In 2007, we haved moved to a large factory with 3 production lines and succeeded in obtaining Halal (by Jakim), ISO *2000:2005 (International Food Safety Standard), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) by UKAS in 2008. In the year of 2011, we managed to obtain ISO 9001:2008 by UKAS and our HACCP standard has been certified by DAC (Dubai Accreditation Center) as well. During the years, we have won numbers of awards by the government agencies and private sectors as well. Apart from the well-known Yee Hup Hiong Piah and Yummito Puff Biscuits, the major secondary products are the 'Black Sesame Peanut Biscuit', 'White Sesame Peanut Biscuit', 'Walnut Biscuit', 'Sweet Coconut Biscuit' and 'Sweet Coconut Peanut Biscuit'. Today, our pastries have became a popular snack and gift item among locals, visitors and exporting to over 20 countries around the world.
