I.D. ENGINEERING (M) SDN. BHD.

I.D. stands for “Infra-structure Development” which was proposed to be the core business field of the company has been incorporated on 22nd August 1995 and having operating office at Skudai, Johor Bahru with the company name I.D. Engineering (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. Initially, the company intended major involvement was on infra-structure works such as earthworks, roads, bridges, water retaining structures and other civil and infra-structure works, which were deemed to be very for a developing country. The company are initiated by share holders from Australia, Germany, Singapore and Malaysia with paid up capital of RM600,000.00. The Australian share holders has been very actively participating in various multi-million infra-structure projects in his country as a reputed contractor, and other share holders are also experience businessmen in the related fields. The company, with the intention to participate in the local Government projects, decided to invest with local Bumiputra with 30% share equity by forming a company namely Land Maker Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. (with paid up capital of RM1,300,000.00), and proceeded application for registration with Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor and successfully registered as Kelas ‘BX’ contractor for building and civil works. However, due to unable to secure any infra-structure works after establishment, the company proceeded to secure a contract for the construction of an Electronics factory with Makers Electronics Sdn. Bhd. at Kota Tinggi, Johor and manage to complete the project successfully. The company recently manage to secure a contract with M/s Felda Construction Sdn. Bhd. (being 100% owned subsidiary company of M/s Felda Holding Berhad) for construction of a resort training centre, namely “Pembangunan Kompleks Latihan Felda Tanjung Leman Mukim Tenggaroh, Mersing, Johor Darul Takzim” involving of 100 hotel rooms and main building block for training and entertainment purposed. However, due to Felda Holding Berhad decided to stop business operation for Felda Construction Sdn. Bhd. which effect from the year 2009, the company further negotiated to take up the whole package directly with M/s Felda Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd. (also 100% owned subsidiary company of M/s Felda Holdings Berhad) including other remaining buildings, external infra-structure works and Mechanical & Electrical works, amounting to the sum of RM29,370,000.00. The company now having a group of qualified and experience manpower ad aggressively participating in tendering and negotiating for more construction project, and is expecting to have two more projects namely a nine storey office building at Kuantan and a Secondary School at Rembau very soon. With well establish background the company aim to develop into a very competitive and bigger sized company broader dimension in business ventures. .
