ORACLE EXACC Administration:-

Manage and maintain Oracle Exadata & Exadata Cloud @ Customer environments, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
Perform routine system monitoring, fix, and performance tuning on Exadata systems.
Administer Oracle databases in a high-availability environment.
Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies for databases.
Conduct regular database health checks and implement proactive measures.
Performance Optimization on databases.
Analyze and optimize SQL queries for database performance.
Collaborate with application development teams to optimize database design and query performance.
Plan and implement Oracle Database and Exadata patching and upgrades.
Ensure latest awareness of the latest Oracle Exadata releases and features.
Implement and enforce security policies and access controls for databases.
Ensure databases align with industry standards and regulations.
Continuous improvement mentality.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine database tasks and monitoring.
Implement and improve processes for database deployment and configuration.
Work closely with multi-functional teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and application developers, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all aspects of Exadata database administration.

Competencies/Requirements:-

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
More than 8 years of experience in database engineering, with expertise in Oracle 19c, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL and Amazon RDS/Aurora.
Strong knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and security best practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
