Expectation:

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in network design, implementation, and maintenance.

- Strong understand virtualization protocols, routing, switching, and security principles.

- Experience with network infrastructure technologies such as LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and MPLS.

- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services, particularly those relevant to network architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).

- Ability to troubleshoot network issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

- Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and their impact on network infrastructure.

Industry Knowledge:

- Understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of the Oil and Gas industry, including remote operations, harsh environments, and regulatory compliance.

- Familiarity with industry-specific applications and systems used in Oil and Gas operations, such as SCADA, DCS, and ERP systems.

- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to network security, data protection, and compliance (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

- Awareness of emerging trends and technologies in the Oil and Gas sector, such as IoT, Big Data analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.

Project Management Skills:

- Ability to effectively plan, coordinate, and execute network infrastructure projects within budget and timeline constraints.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to interact with internal teams, external vendors, and clients.

- Experience in conducting project risk assessments, identifying potential issues, and implementing mitigation strategies.

- Proficiency in project documentation, including scope definition, project plans, status reports, and change management processes.

- Leadership qualities to lead cross-functional project teams and drive project delivery excellence.

Problem-Solving Abilities:

- Analytical mindset to assess complex network infrastructure problems and develop innovative solutions.

- Capacity to adapt to changing requirements and troubleshoot technical issues in real-time.

- Resourcefulness in finding alternative approaches to overcome technical challenges and optimize network performance.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives.

Required skill/Experiences.

1. Bachelor’s degree in IT Network & infrastructure or technical field, or equivalent combination of technical education and related experience required.

2. A minimum of 5 years of applicable project manager experience in Network & infrastructure

3. Understanding of Cyber and IT risks, threats, and prevention measures.

4. Excellent analytical, multitasking, organizational, and time management skills.
