International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental, scientific research organization dedicated to responsible management of plant nutrients in agriculture. IPNI scientists work to help define the basis for appropriate use and management of plant nutrients, especially focusing on the environmental and economic issues and to provide comprehensive information to help farmers and the private sector deal with environmental and agronomic challenges.
With established programs around the world, IPNI is ready to respond to the world’s demand for food, fuel, feed, and fiber. The Southeast Asia Program of IPNI, located in Penang since 2008, has a long history of research and training program since its beginning as a regional office in 1974.
