In the early part of 2007, a group of IT and Automation professionals got together with the view of setting up a society that would benefit people working in that industry. We are glad to announce that this initial effort has now finally led to the successful formation of the IT Automation, Malaysia (ITAM) whose primary objective is to promote the growth and development of IT and Automation as an entity in Singapore and Malaysia.

The major growth areas will be in the process and energy industries, the manufacturing automation industry, the industrial laboratory, research and QC industries, the educational industry and building automation industry. We are confident that ITAM will play a crucial role in the continued growth and development of the IT and Automation industry in Malaysia and Singapore.
