LADDER was founded in 1976 as an English Magazine company. Since 1977, LADDER has been distributing Sesame Street and BBC English throughout Asia. Beside that, LADDER has also developed its own multimedia content for ESL Basic and Advanced English Learning using state-of-the-art technology.

LADDER has branches in major cities around the world: China, Taiwan, New York, Seattle, London, Cyprus, Brisbane, Seoul, Moscow, Singapore and Malaysia. LADDER endeavors to bring together these five aspect: Technology, Media, Entertainment, Education and Telecommunication (T-MEET), through utilizing the capabilities of the internet and multimedia applications.
