Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
The setting of priorities within current project supervision e.g. contractor, sub-contractor, workers and material availableness and delivery schedule deadlines.
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, and the overall project manager. The procedure in case of product deviations by suppliers or sub-contractors from the norm.
Perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing the construction.
Preparation of a preliminary estimate of the total project construction cost.
Preparation of tender documents (BQ & Measurement).
Establish standard procedures with the Contractor and Sub-Contractors to ensure seamless project execution and quality control
Carry out measurement and preparation of monthly valuation for progress payments claims for work done by Main contractor, any Nominated Sub-Contractor and Nominated Supplier.
Sourcing, price comparison then issuing POs to sub-contractors.
Assessment of materials on site, variation costs, etc.
Preparation of final account including negotiation and settlement of claim and incorporating financial implication of delay, extension of time, acceleration, etc.
Material submittal – shop drawings, data sheet, samples to clients.

Supplementary Tasks:

Determine and present estimates of operational costs. Compile estimates for technical and material requirements for project development.
For projects - need to calculate the percentage of job done and to get the necessary approval with the appointed personnel of client. To prepare progress claims before the deadline so that office administrator can submit the claims to clients on time.
Attend site meetings, conference call, tender briefings and tender interviews.
Submit progress claims, to highlight drawings-work already completed.
To get involve with RFQ-Renovation works and site walks.

Job Requirements

Preferably Mandarin speaking candidates due to liaising with Mandarin speaking clients
Diploma in Quantity Survey/Bachelor's Degree and above.
At least 2 year's experience in the related field.
Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
Strong organizational, excellent time management skills and set priority with problem solving.
Proficiency in MS Office and Autocad.
Able to start work immediately.
