JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure timely review of the monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting and presentations with emphasis on detailed commentary on performance of the businesses which includes an income statement, variance analysis against budget/forecast and prior year results, balance sheet and cash flow for the Group of Companies.
Monitor the daily cash flows of the Group of Companies.
Responsible for the annual budget and quarterly forecast for the businesses.
Preparation of tax computation, tax forecast (CP204) and tax revision (CP204A) for the Group of Companies.
Develop and implement proper policies, procedures and financial controls in the businesses, to ensure greater efficiency and operations for the Group of Companies.
Handle the Corporate Exercises for the Group of Companies.
Liase with auditor, tax agent, company secretary, legal advisor, bankers and others statutory bodies for relevant reports and submissions as required by regulatory bodies.
Get involved with various financial projects to push forward the accounting department.
Assess viability of new investments and perform financial due diligence exercise and business analysis.
To perform any other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by the Management.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or Professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA and CPA etc).
At least 7 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting procedures.
Possess strong analytical skills with proactive mind set, able to bring expert advice and problem-solving skills to the team.
Hands-on approach, able to multi-task, work independently and under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environment and dynamic culture.
Team player - able to work across different teams and contribute to a positive environment.
Well versed in accounting standards i.e. Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (“MFRS”).
Good communication and writing skills in English and Mandarin.
Preferably with listed company experience.
Able to start immediate is added advantage.
