OMCORP Sdn. Bhd. was established on 13th October 1994 with its principal business activity in the manufacturing and marketing of premium quality halal Processed and Dehydrated Meat and fish products.

The company markets their products under the brand name Omar Deli, taking after the name of their founder, Mr. Abang Omar Abang Ali. A graduate with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston, Texas USA, Mr. Abang Omar became interested in the food business when he worked part-time at the university cafeteria and at the Jack in the Box fast-food chain in Houston during semester breaks.

 

Once back home in Malaysia, Mr. Abang Omar decided to venture into this line of business after serving his professional academic qualification career with reputable multinationals in the country. With his experience in those organisations coupled with his interest in this industry, he started Omcorp Sdn Bhd.

 

Since the company started its operations 16 years ago, the Omar Deli brand has built for itself a reputation known for their premium quality halal products. The products are processed in their plant located in the Bukit Angkut Industrial Area of Kajang in the state of Selangor.
