Virgo Malaysia Expansion

After the successful venture of establishing South East Asian Regional Project Sales office at  Kuala Lumpur in 2006 , Virgo has gone one step ahead to serve the Oil and Gas market in the Asia Pacific region. With the growing customer base and the product demand, it became essential to increase Virgo’s focus and investment in the region.

Virgo Valves & Controls Sdn. Bhd. has been established to stock Ball Valves in Malaysia in order to cater the emergency requirements in the Oil & Gas industries in the South-East Asian market. With a new stocking facility of 3,500 Sq ft. Virgo will stock  approximately 1000 valves from ½” to 12” in pressure ratings up to #1500. Sarawak Shell and Petronas being the main customers in Malaysia, Virgo will be stocking valves complying to Shell MESC specifications as well. In addition to the stocking facility, Virgo Malaysia will provide value added services like local commissioning and service support for project business.

In the past 6 years, Virgo has succeeded in establishing itself as one of the leading valve suppliers in Malaysia  and one of the major and trusted supplier for Ball valves to local companies like Petronas, Sarawak Shell, Malaysian Marine & Heavy Engineering (MMHE), Sime Darby, KPOC , Murphy Oil etc.  In addition to Malaysia, Virgo has supplied valves  to customers in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei etc.

Virgo’s new investment in Malaysia will not only open additional business avenues in this region but will also help the customers in meeting their emergency requirements in terms of products and service support. Kuala Lumpur stocking facility will act as a hub to provide services to the Oil and Gas companies in Australia, Korea and Japan.
