YMCA Penang

Penang YMCA is part of a world-wide organisation of YMCAs specializing in providing accommodation, facilities, recreational and program activities for men, women and families.  The Y in Penang runs an international hostel with 71 fully refurbished well equipped rooms, restaurant, cafeteria and conference facilities.  In the recreational and program areas, the Y has 3 indoor badminton courts, conduct classes/courses/seminars for working adults seeking to further develop and equip themselves in their working environment.  In response to our social responsibilities, the Y is established in providing support and work with the handicapped in hearing (Deaf).  Penang Y is affiliated to the Majlis Belia Negeri and worked closely with them in the development of youth programs.
