Job Summary:
FA & CC Lab Technician core role will be focusing on carrying out Failure Analysis and cell Characterization (Reliability) for parts under development, NPI and Qualification. Carry out or performs functions associated with failure analysis, characterization, reliability data collection and reporting. Ensure all metrology in the Lab and in perfect condition and strictly adhering to timely TPM. The technician is responsible for equipment preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares and sustaining. In addition, the technician is responsible for preparing and imaging FIB samples and collecting Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) data to support our product reliability and failure analysis efforts. Some common equipment exposure required to handle X-RAY, SEM-EDX, GC-MS, ATR-FTIR, Safety Testing and Reliability System. The technician may be responsible for the buddy, trainer, and certifier levels and in charge of updating training manuals and periodical reporting as per direction by Engineer/Manager/Director. The technician may participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required. High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations. The technician normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work, Systematic and Analytical approach id handy in this work environment.
