The Housekeeping Manager will support all Housekeeping operations including the development of the Team Members to provide an exceptional experience for our Guests.

As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with overseeing housekeeping operations to deliver an excellent Guest experience.

You will required for the smooth coordination and supervision of the entire Housekeeping Department, which includes rooms and designated public areas.

Makes business decisions for the unit, considering the Hotel’s philosophies, policies, standards and procedures and is responsible for both the day-to-day running and longer-term strategic development of the Department.

To ensure the sections operate effectively and are by the objectives, the highest level of performance and quality standard was established by The RIYAZ Lavanya Langkawi.

To provide leadership for the Housekeeping Department while using all available management tools and skills to ensure an efficient and harmoniously run department.

To develop and apply training programs for the housekeeping staff that will result in high standards and the best productivity in the cleanliness of the hotel.

To properly assist department staff so that the standards of excellence developed by the company can be achieved.

To administer effectively and in keeping with policies and guidelines established by the Management. Responsible for the health, safety function and welfare of all housekeeping employees.

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

Housekeeping experience in the hotel sector in a managerial capacity
High level of commercial awareness and cost control capabilities
Proficiency, at a basic level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Knowledge of Workplace, Health, Safety and Hygiene is essential
Strong communication skills - English is a must
A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
