Title: HR Director, SEA and Pacific
Your opportunity
Managing 3 Business units, the HR Director, SEA & Pacific, will be responsible for
-Be a critical HR Business Partner to support the business in formulating HR strategies, action plans that are aligned with the business strategies and businesses growth for the whole of South-East Asia and Pacific
-Overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource function in according with Country strategies, Zone/Corporate HR policies and Local Labor Laws.
-Primary point of contact for government related matters, including but not limited to workpass and legislation matters.
How you will contribute
-Provide HR expertise and partner client groups in HR change management initiatives, linking human resource strategies to business objectives.
-Provide guidance to management, lead/support on a wide range of matters, including employee engagement and HR policies and programs.
-Lead team member to oversee the day-to-day operations of HR in support of the employee life cycle – onboarding and offboarding, development, performance management, exiting and mobility. Implement process improvements as appropriate.
-Assess current market trends to review benefits and compensation.
-Conduct interviews with internal and external candidates for openings.
-Examine and bridge employee's competence gap with feedback and coaching.
-Provide guidance and advice to line managers on managing staff performance and development improvement processes.
-Resolve staff conflicts and provide coaching, consultative advice and assistance to all employees.
-Facilitate leadership and high potential employee development program to optimize performance and build up future pipeline of leaders. Review/develop HR best practices to bridge current abilities to future talent needs.
-Review and validate monthly payroll and individual tax reporting for countries.
-Identify potential risk on manpower planning and financial risk and opportunities with an overview of business objectives through budget and forecast process.
-Manage HRIS and JIRA requests at regional level.
-Participate in any exciting HR projects & initiatives.
Who you are?
-Education : Bachelor’s degree above in business, management, hospitality or Human Resources will be preferred;
-Job experience : Minimum 10 years of HR Business Partnering & Leadership experience with an agile MNC. Regional experience will be a plus.
-Collaborative and outcome focus, with good working knowledge of mobility and expatriate management, employment legislation, general HR policies and best practices.
-Strong people skills with ability to influence and manage staff of all levels.
-Hands-on with ability to multi-task in a fast moving and rapidly changing environment.
-Analytical, able to work comfortably with numbers, Excel and HRIS
-Proactive and collaborative with the ability to ideate and manage new initiatives, while demonstrating a hands-on and highly organized approach to all tasks
-Travel required 10-15%
