Job Summary:
Join the HSE, Technical Coordination Section as a Facilities Management Support Specialist. You will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations by managing daily facilities activities and providing crucial administrative support. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to contribute to a variety of facility management tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily operation activities in facilities management, including building maintenance/repairs, common area upkeep, office maintenance, furniture/equipment management, pantry supplies, office stationery, company buses, canteen services, company vehicles, and pest control.
Coordinate closely with Complex Companies General Admin (GA) and service providers to ensure safe and smooth business operations.
Assist the Facilities & Admin Manager with vendor and contract management, including sourcing and evaluating service providers to justify vendor selection for management approval.
Process administrative services such as systematic filing of documents, assist the Facilities & Admin Manager with payments processing, and support the preparation of management reports.
Provide administrative support to the WSH & FS Sub-Committee, including coordinating safety suggestions, safety patrols, and near-miss updates.
Assist in coordinating activities related to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and SS651 standards requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum of a GCE ‘O’ level/NITEC, with
at least 2 years of working experience in facilities management or the manufacturing industry preferred.
Knowledgeable in Workplace Safety & Health practices and ISO standards is preferred.
Team player with initiative, curiosity to learn, problem-solving skills, and strong interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
